Nice Car. I've been to Iceland twice (about 1973-74). Enjoyed the beauty and hospitality. I'm on the Board of Directors of the Chicagoland Corvair Enthusiasts, the Chicago Chapter Of CORSA. In that capacity I'm required to do articles for our newsletter, the Airhorn. I'm just starting research on Corvairs outside US/Canada. Do you know of any other Corvairs in Iceland? If you have any information on the numbers there, please let me now. I have also head rumors of Corvairs in Greenland too, and that a CORSA Chapter covers both. Any info you can provide would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks \

I might point out that these two Corvairs are distant cousins — both live outside the USA and have been the recipient of the Corvair of the Month award!!

Many of the early images, including those used by TikiRalf to enter in the Corvair of the Month competition, are no longer visible because of some technical shenanigans played by photobucket.

Nice Corvairs in Iceland :tu:

Sometimes its one step back to go forwards. Took the axle's out to fit the brake wheel brake cylinders. At the end one step forward, axle back in place, keeps me bussy :)

she will eventually drive, I cant work faster at the moment. Family, house and other things goes first, Corvair the best of the rest :tu:

And i bet she will see dirt also, but for now she sees more dust :rolling:

It seems like such a perfect Corvair restoration... hard to imagine being able to perform such high-quality workmanship! I wish I had the patience and skills to do such work!

I love the detailed progress photographs. Please keep them coming. The work is so nice I hate to imagine that car every getting dirty again. But if you never drive it, what is the reason for owning it? I look forward to hearing of of its rebirth and emergence back into the world.

We checked all the other fuel lines, brake lines, hopefully i get them in a couple of days. when i get them its bending time.
Working on some different small other items but i will put a update when they are done.
