I was thinking about it. It might look a bit more like the Spyder outlet. Ill have to see how I have to route it on final fitment.

Also the combo (minus clutch friction) for final balancing. Sometimes you get lucky and can "clock" the pressure plate and flywheel to get balance or close and then adjust a minor amount for final assembly balance.

The center hub is turned to fit the bore of the flywheel, a plate to bolt the flywheel to is bolted to the hub and the whole thing sits on the shaft.
Thanks so much Tom for the added details!

So the 20min breakin went well, just a weap on the oil filter bolt that I think is fixed now.

I used the method that Mike Levine uses by overfilling by 2 quarts so the cam is bathed in oil during breakin. Also, use the cam/lifter lube. Always paranoid to get a flattened lobe.

Next is to drop the drivetrain and swap the efi over to the new engine.

Swapped out the engines and working on fitting up the exhaust to exit in the stock location. I am using a stock turbo muffler but flipped so biased to drivers side instead of passenger like on my spyder. I had to make a new muffler hanger outer bracket to position it in the opening.

Waiting on vband to finish up welding on the muffler.

That is going to be a stealthy look on the exhaust. Looking forward to a sound clip! :tu:

I am hoping it has a bit of a lope at idle to it since it has the OTTO20 and the turbo muffler and no drone at rpm.

I had a stock 140 in my 64 Spyder and made a big single crossover to a stock turbo muffler. It had great sound.
