Sorry for the late reply........... I looked up steering wheels on Ebay. Cheap; but I like it.
It is on Seth Emerson's steering wheel adaptor.

Thanks for the great replies and cudos on this build. It is 5 years in the making. Two knee replacements one shoulder a couple of funerals. Life gets in the way of our hobbies!
The steering wheel I found on Ebay, looking for a Grant adapter! Very cheep and free shipping. I had already purchased another wheel but when I found this wheel I couldn't resist. I purchased the seats after the steering wheel.
Don't forget that your 65-66 steering wheel slplines are smaller than all the others. I finally went with Seth Emerson's SW adapter. Money well spent!

Thanks for the replies Bob! I am late responding because I never got any notifications the thread was updated. :dontknow:

I've been scouring Ebay and Google looking for it, but probably not in production anymore. There are other nice ones out there so I'll pick one of those.

Have already talked with Seth about the adapter and has given me good direction on what kind of wheel to look for, so I'll move forward once I get my car back.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Russ!
I should be taking it down off the jack stands in the morning and finally driving it, with the interior mostly in (no back seat).
desperately needs tires.

Hi all. Since my last post in April, I have the carpet and gauge cluster back in and have it off the jack stands!
Moving a bit slow, due to some health issues and getting my 68 ironed out as well.

Next..... 4 wheel alignment, then on to Bob's Upholstery in OKC. He has been around for 30 some years and his workmanship is is top notch!
He is so busy I had to schedule an appointment in September, to get a slot in his busy schedule! I cant wait, this will be the finishing touch to the car... Until I build the engine that I really want to put in it.
I will be consulting Tom Knoblauch at American Flat Six for "Big block", HP options, EFI and final drive ratio possibilities.

Nice car! I like everything but the seats and steering wheel - the red sticks out like a sore thumb. Now if they were black or gray to match the rest of the car it would be perfect. Just my opinion though. You have obviously put a lot of effort into this car and it shows. Now get out there and drive it!
