Hey TD,
I used the roofing material that is used in the valleys. It is peal and stick, comes in rolls and NO it does not smell like tar!
It took 5 rolls to do the entire floor and top well. I think that the material cost around 14.95 per roll at Lowes.
I will post the results after a road test... Whenever that will be!

Scott, what was your impression of it? It has been suggested to me by John Miller. He and Theresa purchased a Corsa coupe from me and used it in there. I did not really ask how it improved the interior noise/heat.

I am happy with it, it made my car much more quiet. It works/looks just like Dynamat.
I think I paid around 16.00 a roll at Home Depot.

This piece was removed from another LM. It looks bent but it is an optical illusion. It will be perfectly straight when I am finished. Next ???

Of Course, that is my goal. I removed the front brakes and will replace the front hoses today.
The shoes don't look like they have ever stopped the car. I will clean everything and reassemble today. THe mastercylinder is toast so I will either go with the duel set up or rebuild the old MC
Everything off the front! The shoes look brand new and are rivited. THe wheel cylionders have sat so long that they will need rebuilding.

This car was undercoated YEARS ago so getting it all off will be a major PITA. Therefore, rebuilding of the front suspension will have to wait. Next winter's project!

I want to deaden the engine noise in the passenger compartment of my Corsa... I wasn't looking forward to the price of DynaMat® I'll have to check out this U.Seal, we have both Lowe's and Homie Depot here in Eugene.
Bob, I'd try a hot air gun for getting the undercoating off, get a cheap one at Harbor Freight.

EDIT: I can't find any reference to U.seal in Lowe's or Home Depot. Any help would be appreciated.

Gregory, It is in the roofing department. It is a valley sealer. Someone there should be able to point you in the right direction. You do not need to cover the whole panel usually about 30-40% gives nearly the same results. I just learned that and thought I would share! rfw66 you ar doing a great job! It is making me want to get out there more and finish mine up!

Hop in that super cool new car! I would be dying for a reason to fire it up! Let me know if you find out about 95 hp heads too, if Dave didn't jump on them. I need some for my turbo engine build.

I have to make sure they are 95s. I'll check numbers when I get home in a couple of hours.
