Id'e sure like a ride. The car, the car. Seriously, the car & bride both look great. I just hope she turns out to be as good as the car.

It's the guy in the green suit you need to worry about not the car or the bride

Priscilla Presley Remembers the Best Gift She Ever Got From Husband Elvis Presley
Priscilla Presley posing with her graduation gift from Elvis, a 1963 red Corvair.
http://www.closerweekly.com/posts/prisc ... y-6-211380Though Priscilla Presley lost Elvis Presley nearly 40 years ago, the star still remembers the best gift she ever received from her former husband.
In an exclusive new interview with Closer Weekly, the 72-year-old star revealed Elvis once gave her a brand new 1964 Chevrolet Corvair when she was just 17 years old...
And, of course, my wife Tracy and I just celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary this past April.
We started in a 1962 Corvair Monza... powered by my very first engine rebuild!

Re: My 1960 500
just for your interest, your corvair is (currently!) the earliest one that I can find that's registered in the uk (although the Oakland number sequence may skew this compared to willowrun)
its also one of 2 that came from Oakland (the other is a 62)
one of 3 1960s
one of 6 sedans
one of 4 500's
I can currently find 13 'mark one' corvairs registered in the uk (i.e cars that have got uk registrations, so I know there is a couple more)

One of 13 is a exclusive club I would say!:D
Here is Klara out testing the Corvair. Especially the horn!

I'm a sucker for cool odometer readings...
Re: My 1960 500
I felt my little red Corvair looked lonely in the garage so I got a big blue Studebaker Grand Turismo to keep it company!
Whats the most unusual looking car
I bought this car out of feeling and some bad photos on classiccar.com and had it shipped to the UK... It's no show car, but will make a nice original driving car!
They do look very nice together! I'm exited to finally have a V8 powered car (not that there is anything wrong with a sporty boxer 6 of course!!!) After 4 days of detailing the car is looking very nice. Some amazing styling right here. I now have the UK's only Corvair and Hawk drivers club
