1965 Monza vert

Post by 4carbcorvair »

Picked this up last Sept. 1965 Monza Convertible, 110, PG with a unique history. And currently just under 64,000 miles. Originally Glacier Gray, black top and the rare gray interior, it is now Mist Blue with a white top still sporting the original interior. Color change done by the previous owner. I have paperwork back as far as 1972, bill of sale. Along with repair receipts up until 1976 when it was apparently parked for one reason or another. The person who bought the car in 1972 was the gentleman who owned the bakery who made JFK's wedding cake. JFK apparently visited the bakery before his presidency on occasion and wanted him to make his cake. With that said, it's a beautiful driving car.

A beautiful car! Did it spend all of its life in the northeast?
How did this rare convertible survive all those winters???
