Born into a Corvair Family... with all those Corvairs he doesn't stand a chance!!!

(I should know... my parents bought their first Corvair -- a 1961 Monza coupe -- in 1961,
when I was 8 years old. Now my wife and I are 64 years old and still hooked on Corvairs!)

Thanks for the nice posts and thanks for taking the time to watch those videos and share them, Brad! It's amazing how time flies and those were some beautiful times. We look forward to many more. I hope you enjoyed watching them

In April my wife and I will celebrate our 45th anniversary. Yesterday she and I watched your wonderful videos together and they were truly inspiring... they had us wishing we could do it all over again! At 64 there is a tendency to view young children and younger couples with a bit of jealousy. You did a great job of documenting your travels together that brought you to this point. The Corvair aspect made your story fit well on this forum, and my hope was that others would enjoy seeing your videos that capture some of those special moments so well. We sincerely hope the three of you will continue to have a wonderful future together!

While this photo is not corvair related, I couldn't resist sharing... caught this yesterday as Donovan watched snow fall for the first time

That is a great picture! My wife and I took care of one of our granddaughters (Alexis Bodie) every day, all day in her first year! Each day was exhausting, yet every day was rewarding and also a tremendous amount of fun! I was retired at that point and my wife was disabled and has difficulty walking, so I did all of the diaper changing! Got to be pretty good at it too! I think I changed more diapers in that year than I ever did before with my own kids! Let's see, about 10 per day for more than 300 days...

We also spent a lot of time with another granddaughter as she grew through her third and fourth year of life. Those years are a great time and very inspiring if you spend a lot of time teaching and reading to your child. Each day is a new adventure for them and it is a lot of fun to watch them grow and delight with each new discovery. I hope you and your wife have a great time as you explore parenthood.


By the way, my first granddaughter, Celina, (about age 3, above) grew up. I am now a great grandfather...
