Here is a breakdown of the information on the body tag you provided...
BODY TAG INFO:

12A
Body Build Date: 12 = December, A = First Week
The first two digits are numbers 01 through 12, indicating the month of manufacture. The letter is A-E, indicating the week of the month. If the letter is an "A" it indicates the first week of the month.

ST 66 10767 LOS 146 Body
Year and Body Type:1966 Corsa 2-Door Convertible, 4 Passenger
66 = 1966
Style 10767: 1 = Chevrolet 07 = Corsa, 67 = Convertible, LOS = Los Angeles (Van Nuys), California, Production Sequence No: 146
1966 Corsa 2-Door Convertible, 4-Passenger (10767), Total Production: 3,142. There were 3,142 1966 Corvair Corsa convertibles produced in the U.S. By comparison, north of the border in Canada, a mere 211 were built by the GM plant workers at the Oshawa, assembly plant located a few miles from Toronto, Ontario.

TR 722 Z F-1 PAINT
F-1 = Exterior Paint Code:F-1 = Brt. Blue - "Marina Blue"
Top Color Code - 1966: 1 = white

Marina Blue - Lucite No. 4704L / Rinshed-Mason No. A1823 / Ditzler No. DDL 13148
TRIM: This 3 digit code represents the interior color and seat type.
Trim 722 = Bright Blue (Interior Color)

NOTE: Trim Code 722-Z. While 722 = Bright Blue, the " -Z" is unknown. Interior Paint Code "Z" indicated Bronze with cars produced in Willow Run, but Interior Paint Code letters were not normally used on cars produced in Van Nuys (LOS). I could only guess that "722-Z" might have indicated a Bright Blue interior with a Bronze interior accent color, perhaps around the instrument panel. :dontknow:

The Letters are listed in groups. Letters following a number are in that group.
1st Group
E = RPO A01 Tinted Glass (Soft Ray glass in all windows)

2nd Group
S = RPO U73 Rear ant.

74k Miles and Clean: 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Convertible
June 5, 2013

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa convertible is described as a 74k-mile example that runs and drives very well. It has the 140-hp engine with 4-speed manual and comes with a long list of work done by the seller, who has owned it since 2008. These second-generation Corvairs are one of the nicest styled American cars of the period, and still look great today. Find this one here on eBay in Ventura, California for $15,900 or offer.

The argent rear panel on Corsas helps sets them apart as the top Corvair trim level. This car has been refinished in its original Marina Blue color, according to the seller, who notes that it was built in the Van Nuys, California, plant and has spent its entire life on the West Coast. The 15×7 Rally wheels aren’t stock, but the car has the same combined wheel/tire diameter as it did with the original 13-inchers.

The interior reportedly was redone in the original factory color by a previous owner and appears to be in very good condition. The top has been replaced as well. The car has a new vintage-look stereo radio that fits the original faceplate and lap seatbelts have been installed. The seller says the car scored 90 points at a local Corsa concours and is used regularly.

The engine compartment looks quite clean, in keeping with the rest of the car. The seller says the 4-carb flat six was rebuilt in 2008 and that the car has been driven 9,000 miles since. The clutch is new, as is the gas tank, alternator and starter and the car has been converted to a dual master cylinder braking system.

This looks like one of the nicer examples of this model we’ve seen of late and the work done to it is a plus. With 3,142 built and timeless lines, it would seem hard to go wrong if it checks out.
