Tele Wheel Data Plate ID

Hi everyone.

For 65, would the Fisher Body tag have a code for the telescopic column, and if it does, anyone know what it would be?

No,..it does not.

That data plate only contains information of what Fisher Body needed to do. Since Chevrolet installed the column Fisher didn't need to do anything. Same with an engine code. The turbo is listed because Fisher install the rear panel for the turbo exhaust.

Thanks guys, I didn't know if Fisher or Chevrolet installed the column. My car has the telescoping column but I have a feeling it isn't original to the car. That would have been an easy way to find out.

If you have an assy manual for the car it is easy to see what Fisher and Chevrolet did. Since it is a Chevrolet manual it contains what they did. If it is not in there then Fisher Body did it.
