Re: 66 corsa
Absolutely. The 4 speed transmission was ALWAYS an option and not standard. This included turbocharged models as well.

Re: 66 corsa
Everything I have read said 3 speed was standard, 4 speed optional on 65 Corsa and 3 speed not Available on a 66 Corsa with 4 speed only trans available.

Re: 66 corsa
According to the attached 1966 Chevrolet Corvair - GM Heritage Center Specs, page 7, Regular Production Option (RPO) M20, FOUR SPEED TRANSMISSION, was an option on ALL Corvairs. RPO M35, POWERGLIDE TRANSMISSION, was an option for 10100-10500 (Corvair 500 and Monza) ONLY. The Corsa could not be ordered with an automatic transmission.
The Three-Speed Manual transmission was considered to be STANDARD on ALL Corvairs, including the Corsa.
