Help ID'ing dealer name
Re: Help ID'ing dealer name
Have you check with the NCRS? They have a very large list and access to the GM shipping documents. Being from the PA/NJ area I can tell you it is probably Sutliff Chevrolet. They have been in business since the 30's.
The other dealer in the area was Ammon R. Smith Chevrolet that was in York.

Check with the local library of where you think the dealer was, they should have old city directories that will have a list of automobile dealers in that city.

Checked, not either of those dealers, also checked with libraries and historical societies in a bunch of the towns. Dealer will probably begin with "ST" based on other dealers surrounding this dealer code.
Sutliff is 585 and Ammon is 540.
Thank you,
Paul
