Has anyone thought about a late model Impala SS powertrain conversion? Transaxle design, 5.3 litre, computer controlled. Seems like a good possibility. Any thoughts?

Re: Just a thought
Pretty sure that V8 blue and white Lakewood has a late model Monte Carlo drivetrain. He said the wheelebase was perfect. You’ll have to look up the car and the article about it. I’m not sure how similar those drive trains are are but it’s some where to start.

Re: Just a thought
Scott, I believe Dan was thinking of the FWD impala. I haven’t done it but it seems that it would be similar to a 3800 swap.
