ObamaCare Simplified

Post by bbodie52 »

Saw these comments on Facebook,, and thought they were worth repeating to help reduce confusion...
Here are the 10,535 pages of ObamaCare condensed to 4 sentences...

As humorous as this may sound.....every last word of it is absolutely TRUE!

1. In order to insure the uninsured, we first have to uninsure the insured.

2. Next, we require the newly uninsured to be re-insured.

3. To re-insure the newly uninsured, they are required to pay extra charges to be re-insured.

4. The extra charges are required so that the original insured, who became uninsured, and then became re-insured, can pay enough extra so that the original uninsured can be insured, which will be free of charge to them.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is called "redistribution of wealth" ...

or, by its more common name......... SOCIALISM.

From Tom Vaughn
A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned by the operator. Operators of Ponzi schemes usually entice new investors by offering higher returns than other investments, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent.

Ponzi schemes occasionally begin as legitimate businesses, until the business fails to achieve the returns expected. The business becomes a Ponzi scheme if it then continues under fraudulent terms. Whatever the initial situation, the perpetuation of the high returns requires an ever-increasing flow of money from new investors to sustain the scheme

It sure sounds like ObamaCare is a variation on this theme!

How very Sad and very true. We as a country have almost become bunch of socialist. We i was growing up you work hard for what you got. Now just ask the Obama and he gives it to you and pays for it with money he gets from the people that do work, pay taxes.

I don't think having affordable insurance for everyone is such a bad thing. The bad thing is shoving it down our throats and putting the premiums of the uninsured on people who already are paying for insurance. The other issue is expanding government for another insurance plan. I'm not an expert but couldn't we have just expanded medicare or medicade? Isn't there someway we could combine the 3 programs and cut out some of the excess government jobs thus passing the savings onto the American public?

One would hope that there is a way to untangle the mess that has been created in Washington by the Democrats (all by themselves). The Republicans, medical professionals, etc. were not really permitted to contribute to the planning. They were in the minority and were told to essentially "go away" while Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and a select handful hid behind closed doors and "stirred the cauldron". When finished, Nancy Pelosi famously stated: “we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it...”

Image

The old system was far from perfect, and some of the concepts embedded in ObamaCare may actually be helpful. But instead of carefully addressing healthcare problems and inviting ideas from all sides, the Democrats basically gave the impression that they wanted to rush into their "solutions" unimpeded by meddlers from the outside. They were in power at the time — controlling The House of Representatives, the Senate, and the White House. There was no need to let the others in to spoil their fun.

Now we are experiencing the results. The good ideas are buried in lies, false promises, and expensive "solutions" that make the "Affordable Care Act" far from affordable. If the premiums and fees and penalties don't kill you, the often ignored extremely high deductibles will likely prove to be the undoing of most who need healthcare. It is a tangled web they wove, and undoing the damage while still providing some form of viable healthcare and restoring a viable healthcare system will be very difficult — especially if President Obama stands in the way with a veto of most bills submitted by Congress, coupled with a steady stream of obstacles, distractions, and a political blame game that will seem endless.

:whoa:   :banghead: :helpsos:  :dontknow:

The only way may be for Congress to reverse course and to begin to work together as a viable form of government. The former political enemies must learn to work together, compromise, and find solutions. The Democrats must see Obama for what he is, and must be wiling to work with Republicans to develop serious, workable legislation that will actually help the public and will consider the needs of America, instead of the next political maneuver around the corner. Obama is really not good for either party, and terms like incompetent, narcissistic, and childish are spoken more and more on both political sides. The voters made a mistake, and compounded it with a reelection. Now Obama is in his own world and is unconcerned with the well-being of others in Washington, and seemingly unconcerned with the well-being of America. Democrats and Republicans may find that they will have to work together to find solutions, and they may also find that they have to join with enough force to override Presidential Vetoes and dictates from the White House as well! The people want effective, positive action to strengthen our economy and solve our problems... even self-inflicted problems like ObamaCare. President Obama is unlikely to cooperate.

I have often said that once the politicians (on both sides) learn that the government is "by the people, for the people" NOT for my own agenda to line my pockets.

The 1%er's have it made....

Rich people pay fox people to tell middle income people to blame it on the poor...and those with no rational thinking believe it....and those rich are the ones making the money from brain washing.

Like the bumper sticker says...." Critical thinking...the other national debt".....sorta says it all....I would change that to "rational thinking".

Isn't it strange that NO ONE moves to America other than those that are poor and get murdered....there is a reason....ask anyone in Britain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Australia, Canada, etc etc etc why they prefer their socialist country health care vs having your health outcome dictated by a company that is not in medicine that wants to make all the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ it can so they can buy houses in these countrys....if you don't believe me...ask your German neighbor or your French neighbor or your .............etc etc etc neighbor....oh gees....they don't exist do they.

Still don't get it do you?

I finally remembered who Jonathan Gruber reminds me of... Eddie Deezen! The ultimate nerd in the movies!

ImageImage

Here is a clip of Eddie Deezen playing a nerd, geek, etc. in a clip from the movie WarGames...

Now compare him to this video of the MIT ObamaNerd talking about his development of ObamaCare...

Perhaps NERD ACTOR Eddie Deezen got together with OBAMACARE'S WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST WING Kathleen Sebelius and they produced a test tube baby... MIT'S OWN OBAMACARE DIRECTOR JONATHAN GRUBER!

Well folks as I stated in another post I was waiting to find out how much the insurance companies would raise the Obamacare premiums for my wife for the second year of coverage. Today she got a notice that her premium would be $123.00 per month up from $70.00 a month. Once they find out how much people's prescriptions are & what their medical conditions are they adjust the premiums accordingly so they don't lose money. I still say the insurance companies are paying lawmakers "Democrats" under the table. The only good thing is that scumbag Obama only has two more years. Just another little bit of info that Obamacare did, my wife is mentally ill & has to take meds every day & I was paying for those drugs out of pocket since 1995. As soon as Obamacare went into effect the Pharmacy raised one of her meds from $170.00 a month up to $380.00 a month & her co-pay on that drug is $12.00. Obamacare was good to pay the rest but the taxpayer have to pick up the bill for that & how many more people like my wife are out there. I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth but it's not right that the taxpayers should have to pay for all this. I think when all the people get their notice of an increase in premiums the crap will hit the fan!!!!!! My wife does not work or have any income & I get $1698 a month Social Security & that's what we live on, it just keeps getting harder & harder but we'll get by despite the Democrats. :my02: :banghead:   :assault: :assault: :assault: :rafman:  :not worthy:

This was the cover of Newsweek, shortly after the bailouts passed. No doubt they never saw ACA coming, or they might have viewed the event with more fanfare- Newsweek isn't exactly a Conservative publication...

Jonathan Gruber's ObamaCare-Related Paychecks

FEDERAL HHS: $392,600

MICHIGAN: $482,000

MINNESOTA: $329,000

VERMONT: $400,000

WISCONSIN: $400,000

WEST VIRGINIA: $122,000

TOTAL: $2,125,600

NANCY PELOSI NOW STATES THAT SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHO JONATHAN GRUBER IS, AND THAT HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF OBAMACARE. (Video of her previous statements referring to Jonathan Gruber and the MIT professor's analysis of ObamaCare to strengthen her public statements about ObamaCare proves she is lying).

If you added up all of the federal, state and local taxes you have paid during your entire lifetime, how much of that money was wasted on paying Johathan Gruber's consulting fees???

DID YOU GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH?

DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH LEFT IN YOUR WALLET TO PAY YOUR OBAMACARE PREMIUMS AND DEDUCTIBLES???

How affordable is the Affordable Care Act? How did the voters make such a horrible mistake in electing and reelecting Barack Obama?

Harry S. Truman, a Democrat, has the record for the lowest approval rating of any president so far.

Like many single-minded Progressives, you ignore hard facts:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Sta ... val_rating

Truman had the worst single statistic, while on average Bush actually has a higher approval than Obummer: 49.4 vs 48.

How's the Kool Aid?
