Coolant overflow tanks

Post by 4carbcorvair »

Anyone see the coolant overflow/reserve tanks on Ebay? I sent an email just after they were listed. I asked that since the Corvair is air cooled, do you really need a reserve tank for air? Wonder if I'll get a responce? :rolling:

They might work all right as a crankcase breather reservoir for those who have too much blow-by and don't wanna fill up their air cleaner with oil!!..... :dontknow: (my son actually has one of these on his Nissan turbo car.)

Thankfully I'm not old enough to need one. Would make long distance travel easier, less stops.... Hmmmmm.

I got a reply yesterday. They appologised and said they just go through the computer and list with vehicle names. No need to appologise to me, hate to see them waiste 20 listings on eBay for nothing. I'd rather see them keep their money than see eBay get it.

I wouldnt feel sorry for them, its their own stupidity.

I hear ya about the ebay thing. But they are there to provide a service and make money. Like most other buisnesses. Ive never had a problem with them. Some of the stupid people on there thats a different story.
