At my age I try to forget about birthdays.

Up here your drivers license expires 5 years after your next birthday regardless of when you got it.

Last time I took the eye test and got all of them right - the DMV "lady" ( I use that world in jest) said it sounded like I was guessing on a few of them. I jokingly said " pretty good guess eh" . She crumpled up my paperwork and refused my renewal. WTF ?

She said I could go to an eye doctor and get a signed form to waiver the eye test.

I want and told the Doc the story,-- anyway I passed the test with no problem and got my license.

This time (a few weeks ago) I just went to the eye doc first and got the waiver. He said my eyes were still good to go so now I have 5 more years !

By then it's hard to say what I'll be doing !

Getting old sucks -- don't let anyone try to fool you into thinking otherwise !
