Corvair owner loses house, barn (and Corvair?)
Some of you may remember me mentioning a 62 Spyder vert that had been sitting for some time a few miles from my house. The owner didn't want to sell. His son had posted on the other place about restoring the car for his dad. It was pretty much stripped down to a bare shell, sat for a while, than apparently got tucked away in the barn I assume. Along with a LOT of Corvair parts. The barn had been under re-construction for some time from a roof collapse. http://www.wgme.com/newsroom/top_storie ... 2800.shtml

What a shame.. Especially to lose pets besides cars. Wonder what started the fire?

They were talking on this evening news, they do not know if the fire was set or accidental. Update: http://www.wcsh6.com/news/local/story.a ... 27&catid=2

What a bummer. If it was set, I hope they catch the dirtbags who did it.
