Snow!

Post by Ira »

Don't know about the rest of you but I'm tired of the weather consistently getting in the way of my hot rod projects.

Guess I was spoiled by the last three or four years here in Denver.

I'd rather have the snow, than -10dg. It doesnt stop me from working on my cars either way. Just that Im usualy the only one with a garage with no snow on the roof, melts from the heater. lol.

I'm just pissed that I've got two cars to trailer to the shop in Grand Junction and both of them are under snow.

In addition we don't like trailoring a car over Vail Pass in the snow.

Grand Junction, there's a great VW custom shop there. Along with a good forum they run. Some realy cool cars have come out of there.

Never built a bug before... wouldn't mind an oval window though...

What's the name of the shop?

Weather in Juneau Alaska today was balmy with temps in the low 30s and some patches of blue sky . Usually we would be buried under a couple feet of snow and have temps in the high teens or lower 20s.
Worked in my tent garage and drove the Vette again , the 5th time already this year. Usually not until April.

Van... those are some pretty talented guys!

I've never seen one nicely built VW in Junction... so I'd be interested to know where they're hiding out.

I laughed at the picture of four guys picking up a split windowed body... must be nice. Can't do that with my 56 very easily. ::-):

Yeah, pretty cool cars.

Two people can lift a bug body, but only if your not to concerned with damage, easier with 4.
