Watcha watchin' ?

Post by Scott H »

Good TV is hard to come by today...what are you watching?

Myself, I don't miss an episode of Top Gear (on BBC America)

and Wheeler Dealers, Chasing Classic cars (on HD Theater)

I also watch German Touring car racing, British touring car racing, Drag Racing, Supercross, Pass Time (on SPEED channel)

Barret Jackson (speed), Mecom Auto Auction (HD theater)

and for laughs, I watch The Office (nbc)

Not much. Pretty much anything I can find to watch. OCC last night. Ghost Hunters, whatever is on. Not big on TV, usually have it on for back-ground noise. Actually popped in Back to the Future DVD last night... lol

Regardless of my 60" TV , I refuse to pay for cable. Here in the great white north the average cable bill is $70 + a month, fo r agreat deal of crap I won't watch. That being said I either download movies and TV shows , or stream them directly to the TV. A little tid bit

The other night I got the whole 1st season of Lie to me in HD in about 2 hrs...

when I am at home I watch pass time with my dad , they have a house right down the street from where it's usually taped in AZ.

love the cooking network and Alton Brown (downloaded seasons 1-12)

House

ect....ect

I would rather put the money into my hobbies or savings... LOL ..like i have savings...

I also like NCIS. I used to watch alot of history channel but lately it seems to be to much Doom & Gloom programs. The world is coming to an end and things like that. MTV has switched from music video's to reality type programs so it fell down on my list.. I try to find channels where they are building cars, motorcycles and such. I do enjoy those programs about how they catch people doing bad with modern science.. They amaze me.

I'm a flipper !

I like Pass-time but Pinks stinks.

Wheeler Dealers and Top gear aren't bad but they need to add sub-titles for us English speaking people !!!!!!!

I spend more time surfing the net for Corvair content or Viewing You-tube videos than watching TV.

I like many kinds of racing but stock car racing is as boring as dropping painted ping pong balls in the toilet and flushing it to me.

The HD channel has lot's of car stuff and I like the Mecum auctions much better than the Barret Jackoff auctions. I really don't like that guy !

I like historical & nature stuff but any show with "canned laughter" is is quickly passed by.

Seriously -- there is no way that they can take a car totally by surprise and do what they do in a week on Overhaulin.

I like the show and I love Foose. Some of his paint schemes like on that 442 vert suck tho !

Chip is a real artist and I would love to meet him.

Another person that I would really like to meet is Jay Leno. Forget the Tonight show - I just wanna talk cars with him !

Movies for the most part, but usually keep the boob tube going for time keeping purposes. I do like some of the series on Showtime and HBO...like Trueblood, Dexter and The Tudors...like the Discovery and History channels.......and of course, since one of my favorite pass-times is food/eating, the Food Network. My two favs are Guy Fieri with his Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and Paula Dean...nothin like her down home, southern, gain 50 pounds in one sitting meals...........ya'll

Dont watch much tv at all. My wife records Modern Family (with Al Bundy). Thats funny. And Cougar town, Courtney Cox is so hot. Oh, been recording a few of those Howe and Howe tech shows, pretty cool. Monster quest is pretty cool also.
