I had to throw my 2 cents in here; especially when someone mentions early Datsuns! I used to have a nice 71 240... followed later on by a 71 510. I competed w the 510 in time-distance rallies. Great fun! My favorite color was (stock) the butterscotch, but what I ended up with was the drab almost Army Jeep green! I just ignored that aspect, and enjoyed the rest of the car. The Z was red on black. Both cars I made sure had front spoilers painted to match the body. The Z also gained like rear spoiler. I "lost" the bumper guards on front bumper for a cleaner look. The 510 lost the dogdish hubcaps, and both bumpers. On 510's, and 55 Chevies; I seem to have no tolerance for the front bumpers. To me they look like Grandma safety cars w them!!!!! 510's have always been VERY high regarded here in the Pac. NW! A good one will fetch almost as much an early Z!!!! AHEM!!! We were talking about garages, right? My econ. is pretty barebones right now. 1 yr ago I gave up a rented mini storage type garage I'd paid on for 9 yrs. Yes, we shudder at RENT MONEY GONE, but this was a small town location where I was free to change oil, work on things, w/o people freaking out!! SIGH! My present GARAGE is the 10x10 gazebo carefully positioned under a fir tree to house 4 motorcycles. The car type vehs. stay out for now! I dream of a real garage again, but not over getting a nice '65 or later HT Vair!!!

This is funny. I had know idea how interseting it would be to peek into everybodys garage. Here is mine. I think it is funny that parked next to my corvair is it's arch enemy the Mustang. They seem to get along O.K. but I hear some strang noises from there at night. The Mustang got a little sore when I moved the heater over to the Corvair during the winter.

Here's mine as it is now . 12X24 tent. My Corvette sits in another one right next to it.

And there's an engine on a stand in my house - currently in the kitchen .

The one shown under construction is now done and full of stuff!
The 1956 Cessna 182 is for sale if anyone needs an airplane PM or email me.
When I sell the 182 maby I can step up and buy a nice LM.
