Garages - Plural ?

Yeah I've got two -- I've been outside several times today to make sure mine haven't blown away !

I did actually get out in my "garage" today and started getting motivated to work on my Vair. I cleaned up a bunch of stuff that has been laying around since winter set in.

My Monitor heater kept me toasty but ran pretty steady. Temps in 20s and VERY windy.

I was planning to get some pics or even some updated video so this is a good thread for that.

I knew I shouldn't have said it was Spring-like a few days ago. The daylight hours are gaining very quickly and I'm finally starting to wake up from hibernation. Looking forward to about 20 hours of daylight by June. We don't get quite as farther north in Alaska.

Built a garage behind my house in 2009. 28x30x10 a bit too small in my opinion but lot restrictions would not allow larger. It has temporary cross flow paint enclosure in the left side using auto body partition walls , fan and air filtration. It also has a frame pulling bench built into the floor. Lots of outlets both 220 and 110, and enough lighting (Including recessed over bench lighting) that even old Corvair guys can see:) Did all the wiring and finish work myself as well as most of the landscaping (Now if I can only get the grass to grow better...sigh)

You have a Datsun! I love early Datsun's. I had a '72 510. One of my all time favorite cars I've owned!

Heres a couple panoramas of before my Van, traded the roadster pickup for the van. My Garage is a mess, usualy I will clean it up only to mess it up again, I work my butt off make a mess and dont clean up when its time to go in, till I cant stand it then do a massive cleaning. Right now Im in massive cleaning mode, getting ready for winter.

You have a Datsun! I love early Datsun's. I had a '72 510. One of my all time favorite cars I've owned!

That Datsun is my son's. It is a 1969 that lays frame on airbags...maybe one day he will finish it. I have 2 more both 1972's. One is a work truck level driver that I will likely repaint one day and a parts truck. Currently we are playing with Datsun pickup's, VW's and the occaisional Corvair around here.

You guys make me jealous... my garage is a scorching patch of asphalt by day and a flood-light lite patch of asphalt by night... either way the wind will blow the oil in your eyes if you're laying upwind when you drop the plug. Yeah... I've only done that once... I'm a quick learner like that.

Just got a new GARAGE!!!! A frozen @zz piece of asphalt by day and a colder frozen piece of asphalt by night.... It's breezy so the dust flies away along with any wiring schematics you might be reading - PLUS the sun goes down at 1700 hours so you know it's time for bed... :)

Congrats on the new garage! Sounds like mine but mine doesn't get as much snow as yours.

Cvair, look on crgslst for heaters, I picked up mine for $100, and spend $200 running a vent and gas line, works great. Gets hoooot, all but when its negative, then its just bearable, but I have no ceiling, just rafters and a vented roof.

I'll check em out. Always wanted one of the propane tanked ones that contractors use.... I have a roof and vented walls...
