That was pretty cool :goodpost:

I have some of the music they used. That first song was in a video that I made recently and I've been saving the Beep Beep song for a future show.

I do remember hanging out at A&W ,and we used to sneak people into the Drive-in movies in the trunk.

It took some time to make that short video- they used a lot of PIP tracks.

Thanks for sharing it Kasey :burnout:

Here's one I made about car styling , it's part 1 as I just found a bunch of new pictures that will bring us into the 80s.

Whatchutalkinbout, Wills? Times are still great, there's so many car shows around I have to pick and choose what one to go to! Autorama was the biggest one yet last year, hopefully I'll go to it in a restored Corsa this year. :neener:

I agree that times aren't so bad now but -----------------------

---- What about the music nowadays ?

Up here we have one rinky dink car show a year. 30 cars would be a big show for us. I envy you guys that have events all the time. - My Corvair gets zero respect at the local shows - But I know better !

I graduated from high school in 1957 and the times and cars weren't all that great. Jobs were tough to get -- especially for teens. I remember standing in lines 50 kids long to apply for a single job opening. Yeah, a lot of guys had great rods, but for me it was spend my money on hot rods or save it for college. I chose the latter and vowed I'd finish college so I could get a good job and not have to work on greasy, dirty, clapped out old cars anymore. I finished college and my graduation present to myself was a new '63 Chevy II convertible. (I wanted a Corvair convertible, but the dealer who had it wouldn't even talk to me.)

Music? It's still great -- jazz, blues, classic rock, etc. I even like quite a bit of the kid's stuff.
