Fugliest car I can think of are those new (don't even know who makes them and don't want to know...probably asian) car/van/suv/truck combo things that resemble cardboard boxes.

Although some of the photos I have seen on here are pretty fugly...and the girls, you just can't beat the girls OMG and LOL

Greetings all

While I normally consider beauty is in the eye of the beholder - the case of the Citroen D series aught be somewhat of an exception.

The Citroen "DS" would be regarded as one of the most beautiful 4 door sedans made - by most of the informed people around the world. It has almost become a barometer of design & style. If you reckon it's ugly....you might wanna go look in the room of mirrors. :nono:

If we were to patriotically forgive the crimes against styling & design perpetrated by Detroit, and focus on the French - you'd see more successes than failures.

You want ugly?......go to Eastern Europe.

I can't remember where this image came from (but I'm ashamed to have it on file).

Regards,
Rhys

No, no Scott.....I'm not calling anyone - anything. (If your hearing voices, they'll be the ones from within) :tu:

Those seeking an ugly Citroen need go no further than the Ami 6 (still actually a worthwhile car though)

I reckon the AMC Pacer is hilarious, and almost OK....if it were just a bit more interesting mechanically.

Cheers,

Rhys

I am horrified by the lack of one certain entry into this contest... one that most all of us have seen in person.

My vote for ugliest and most pointless vehicle in history (hell it even makes an Amphicar look cool).

Ladies and Gentlemen... I give you the "Smart" car.

I can't prove this but I'm pretty sure these babies run off of methane gas-producing-compost piles.

:rafman: How about these rides ? I kinda like them....I haven't seen one in person , but I 'drive one...about the Pacer, maybe they weren't fast, but the design was awesome, it's almost like driving a spaceship, and good visibility, especially with all those idiots on the road....

You guys are funny!

Stateside bubbas will never see the best version of this car- the turbodiesel. If you live in a crowded city, this is the best possible thing you could drive. Park it anywhere, and it can still drive on the freeway. Blast by everyone else at the gas station, all the while getting more than 45 MPG. Don't like the body style? Replace the panels with something that suits your mood, they can be bought from dealers and aftermarket suppliers.

Don't like the roof? Neither did MB, so buy the Crossblade!

Don't like the car version at all? Get the Roadster, and bring your pretty woman friend.

WOW! The roadster is cool!

If I lived in a crowded city, and was forced to drive a tiny car. I'd go with an original mini :burnout:

Smart man. :tu:

Mine's red and black, soon to have a 1.3L turbo engine.

I also thought it was fun to pick up groceries in my '64 Bianchina, but people were always asking me where the key to wind it up went off to... It was literally half the size of any other car on the road.

I suppose but when you consider how many dollars per pound that guy has into his "scooter"...

Bottom line for me is they're ass ugly regardless if he's running a hyped up Briggs and Straton.

However for entertainment purposes I love watching them go up 1-70 in the slow lane here in the Rocky Mountains.

Sarcasm aside though, coming from a family who has owned over 10 small Alfa Romeos... I wouldn't ever feel comfortable in one. The only real crumple zone in those things... is you.

I'm with S&D on this one.

Crowded city... needing gas economy... no kids... I'd own an original Mini.

Now that's a car with a soul.
