January 7 membership Meeting Notes

Committee members present were Mike Hall, Ken hand, Bob Helt and Jack Bacon
The Henry Ford Museum is having a new exhibit "Engines Exposed" January 14 - February 28 and of the eight cars in this display is a 1960 Corvair.
We talked about the possibility of asking the Ford Museum if we could display our cutaway Corvair engine in the exhibit.

Mike Hall got prices for a vertical banner at $87 for attracting people to the CORSA booth. We agreed that a 10 feet banner would be a good height. The banners could be a print on demand item, where if a chapter wanted one they could be printed when ordered.

Bob Helt contacted some people on his email list of past CORSA members. Some forgot to renew, some were done with Corvairs, etc.

Jack will see if Jeff at California Corvairs would put brochures in their orders. Also make a list of other vendors that might help us out.

We would still like to add some younger members to our membership committee to get their point of view.

The Membership Committee teleconference call will move to once a month -the last Monday of the month. next meeting is January 30 at 8pm CST
