EM Turbo Cruise to Firestone Walker *PICS*

Post by generalzod »

Got the 62 turbo out on Monday for a nice little cruise with my Pops from Santa Cruz to Paso Robles. Determined that I am getting between 19.5-20 mpg highway, no issues, solid and steady on the 101 and even met a nice older gentleman along with his son in a 62 Vette that he bought brand new from a SoCal dealership. They were driving it back from Laguna Seca for historic Vette races. Along the way their car turned 100,000 miles. It was a perfect time capsule. Caught a little rain and mud which cleaned up nicely when we found a do it yourself car wash. Overall I would say the day was a success. Gonna try and pull a few more of these before the weather turns wet here on the left coast.
