Nice but I want to see those wheel cranked hard right and left while you are entering or exiting a gas station driveway or such.

I don't see how you serioulsly lowered LM guys get away with driving around like that without slicing up the tires, stripping off the trim or deforming the wheel lips. My sport sedan is only lowered by one coil and the first time I entered a slightly inclined driveway it chewed the wheel trim all to pieces. It really ruins your "I'm so bitch'en " moment when everyone looks to see what that horrible noise just was and they are all looking at you. ::-):

It's all in wheel width, tire width, and backspace. My car is that low and I have zero issues with tires rubbing. I also have modified steering arms that give me quick steer but also allow me to turn a tight radius unlike regular quick arms and still no rubs ever.

They were modified by Michael Leveque. I had him shorten to the length of Clark's quick steer arms but also position the tie rod mounting points as far out as possible to reduce tire scrubbing from the increased ackerman angle. When I had the Clark's arms my turning radius was reduced and the tires scrubbed when making tight turns because of that ackerman. They don't scrub at all now and I can turn tighter. One would have to have disc brakes to use arms like these as the drum backing plates would be in the way. Probably larger than stock wheels as well. I'm using bump steer adapters on the arms which drops the mounting point of the tie rod(necessary because of my ball joint setup). They ride inside the wheels and that bottom nut clears my 17" wheels by about 1/4".

What brand tires are you running? I'm going to go with 15" wheels and performance tires are starting to become unobtainable the sizes needed to work on a Corvair.
