Hi my 63 corvair has wet mats up front , not sure where this is coming from . Could it be because the air pipes which are broken letting in water ?
Also how do I replace the pipes? As I have bought some from rock auto and they split whilst installing
Could it be the window fuzzies need replacing?
The drain holes at the bottom of the fenders are plugged and water is backing up thru the fresh air vents.
Under the cowl vent (under the wind screen wipers) there are some seams sealed with body caulk. Could be there. At least one of them is visible from inside the car. Our 62 leaks there.
When you open the front door, below the wind screen post, there is a drip tray sealed to the body with caulk. I believe our black 61 leaks there.
There are two drain holes on the bottom of each door. They could be plugged.
The air pipes you mentioned, are they the ones attached to the heater vents in the rockers? If so, I don't think that is your problem.
As always I may be mistaken.
I would enlist the aid of a helper. Get things dried out and then flood the different areas with a garden hose. Not the ledge in the trunk of course
