LM engine valve cover...

Unread post by acarlson » Thu Mar 16, 2017 3:30 pm

I will be doing a major rebuild of my Corsa turbo engine in the next month or so. I'll eventually need to adjust new lifters. So, I'm looking to acquire an engine valve cover that I can cut in half to use as an oil drain for adjusting the rockers and lifters. If you have one laying around that you're not going to use and you're willing to send it my way, PM me and let me know what you want for it.

Thanks -

I have a set of two covers, already cut in half. $10 plus shipping for the pair.

nothing wrong w/adjusting the valves w/the engine running. but theres no good reason to do it that way & its alot ez-er to adjust them cold - just like the factory did & like its explained in the shop manual.

both ways work & both ways can be done wrong. do it the way you know - the result is the same if done right.

I have been adjusting them with the engine off. Has been working great for me. No muss no fuss :)
