Rotated images when posting

I have seen others and recently had one of my own images rotate 90 degrees (CCW) when uploaded to CF. The image is oriented correctly as it is saved locally in my Photos (iOS). Only thing I can figure is that this photo having been taken in Portrait vs Landscape orientation somehow causes it to rotate due to some formatting on CF…?

Scott or anyhow know how to correct this, aside from artificially trying to re-orient prior to upload (if that would even correct)?

(… Actually in the attached image I tried to ‘pre-rotate’ so it would be displayed correctly but still forces into a landscape orientation. Must be a phpBB formatting thing…??)

Yes the site will auto rotate to landscape.
