I have the original block from a 69 VIN 741. It is the hardest block to find for a 69 as its a 140/ 4 speed. Almost all 140's in 69 were Powerglides. 741 is not in the registry so I am assuming it is long gone. This is the second 69 140/4 block I have had. I sold the last one about 5 years ago to a guy who did not mind the VIN being wrong but wanted the block coded correctly for his car. The block will be a bare block with studs, no crank. There were less AG coded cars built than RR coded cars built.
Full numbers on the block are as follows:
19W700741 T0816AG
So car VIN # 741, assembled 16 August. An early built car
I do not care to ship this block but would at the purchasers expense. I am going to be driving from Galveston to the National Convention and will bring it to the convention if there is interest. If not, it can stay in my warehouse.

Re: FS 1969 140/4 block coded AG
My 69 conv is Vin 441 so 300 earlier. It's AG coded block is stamped T0813. The body was built the 2nd week of Sept. The AG code could also have a 3sp.
