'65-'66 Wood Wheel

Unread post by corvairsince70 » Sun Jun 04, 2017 5:29 pm

This wood wheel is not perfect. It has splits in the "plastic" on both sides. Otherwise in good shape. Comes with adapter. $250 plus shipping. See pictures.

Good move. Those are going for more than you are asking. The hub just needs painting. The horn contact is the same as 64-66 wood wheel contact, but the tab to the contact plunger in the hub is just longer. Easy to fab.The steering wheel can be replaced by removing the mounting rivets and using counter-sink flat head fasteners. Horn buttons are available re=-pop.

I have a real nice one of these, complete, 65 - 66 depending on the horn button and have turned down $450. Yes... really!
