Those Corvair Lawsuits !!!!

Post by UNSAFE »

When I bought this magazine on Ebay I didn't know the Corvair content was part 3 . I have part 1
on the way and am still searching for part 2 which is either the June or August 1966 issue of Road Test magazine.

So in quickly scanning thru the BS I was kinda surprised to read about how much the high ranking GM
witness did NOT know . He seems to not remember or know much about anything ?????

The photo sequence is from the Ford testing ground footage where it was pretty obvious that the car
was rolled intentionally. Remember that Chevy was producing similar footage about the other makes
back then so it is not surprising that Ford rolled it on purpose . On the other hand most cars back then
would, and still will slide instead of rolling over .

At least it came to rest upright . ::-):

Stayed tuned for part 1 soon and then part 2 when I find it.

Rember to click on pics for larger view .

Comments are welcome -- especially from you Early guys

I finally got part one :woo:

It's amazing how vague the "Engineer" was in his testimony - he probably went on to become a politician

How convenient that an ad for Ralph's book was in this issue
