Focal Point of Compact Power Vintage 1960

Post by UNSAFE »

Another old Jam Handy Filmstrip from the archives - This one is about the advantages of Corvair's Uni-pack power-train

With these remastered filmstrips that were poorly put together by someone else originally I have to take a "snapshot" of each photo and then crop it , convert it to B&W , and then discard the original video while retaining the audio and then re-assemble the filmstrip as if I was starting from scratch.

Here's an example of a "snapshot" before any editing . While you can't see it in a still photo there was lots of flicker and wobbling before I started

:goodpost: You really do some great work with these historical videos. I'm glad you are willing to take the time and develop the techniques needed to accomplish these restorations and to convert them to modern format that can be seen by so many via the Internet on the Web.

An interesting film strip -- makes me want to own a Corvair ::-): Makes me believe in the design. ::-): Makes me believe that the powertrain will last for years! ::-):

Thanks for taking the time to preserve these videos. They are great to watch and an important part of Corvair History :chevy:
