Scotty, I think what you have are the build pictures of the two-tone flame LM that went for the big bucks last year. You know, the one with the fake LS1 cover over the engine. That car started life as a 500, and was originally in Hot Rod Magazine in Red before it got the wicked two tone flame paint job.

Nope. That was a totally different car. And my inspiration to build a wide tired corvair. Super nice guy too. (the builder, I never have spoken to the owner)

Tony, I love that Red car. It's also a screen saver on my computer. Those rear wheels are DEEP.

How is your car coming along these days? I'm hoping to get my trailing arm bushing issue taken care of this weekend. Going out to the garage to drop & fix the bushing today ... then wait ... then reasemble this weekend?

Yeah, that black "bagged" car is pretty awesome. Once finished (and painted) that will be one nice looking ride on the streets.

Actually, the owner is Jacob Kangas from Springfield MO. You can find him on FB.
He has been to the "Great Planes Round Up"s this past year in Tulsa,OK. Rat rod and he likes it that way! Or so he said.
The next round up is in Oct and will be held in the KC,MO metro.
I will post the even information, when it becomes available to me.

Take a look at this thread. Posting photos both using the site and a third party site are explained. If you still have questions, please ask, because we would love to see your Lakewood.

Nice. I'm also running some old-school chrome reverse wheels on my LM. So it's bagged?
