Jon, I agree that $1,500 is definitely too much for that Corsa coupe, though it does look like it'd be pretty easy to make a decent driver out of. I think I'd go for $900 or so for that by my rust belt standards.

Flat6, that looks like a great deal (with the turbo stuff)... go check it out!

Here is a possible bargain in Maine, sure wish I could check it out but it's too far to drive and I'm broke!

Might be a real rust bucket, but worth checking out for sure!

Nice, I hope it's a good one! I just bought another early to rescue but it's an automatic, I'm dying to get a 4-spd early, hopefully a Spyder but it'll have to wait till I get at least one car sold.

Hah! you are right, if that was near me I'd jump on it! What I really want now is a Spyder coupe though. I got the new 62' PG coupe running this week, I think it's going to be a strong engine when I get it sorted out.

Well I don't know if this is a smokin deal but I made the plunge......A cherry 1965 Corsa 180HP convertible. I absolutely love it. I feel really blessed to have it. It is an older restore maybe '96. then the guy a bought it from got it in trade and had it for ten years. Drove it 450 miles total and never CHANGED THE OIL!! :td: I bought it in Eugene about 105 miles from my house and drove it home. A little scary in a car you know nothing about but what the heck. It runs and drives great but I want to go through it throughly and make sure the maintenance is good.
I know you guys love pictures so here you go.

Thanks you guys are great, I will post more pictures ( of course, I am excited) in the sun light. I snapped these after I spent two hours detailing it and it was getting dark. I haven't even showed you the motor yet. I want to detail that compartment too.

I looked at Corvair.crazy's new 65 Corsa vert a few months back and featured it in our club newsletter... it's originally an Evening Orchid car, came with lots of cool options from the factory. I'm glad it went to someone who appreciates Corvairs, the PO was a 'vert guy, not a corvair guy.
