That's the plan
Re: Praise the lowered...!
I like FCs but have only ridden in one once.
Some Flower Power decals and it would be a perfect "Hippie-Van"
Any plans to autocross it ?

Re: Praise the lowered...!
Take some measurements off of the front and back, I will do the same, be interested to see where it sets. Anyone with a stock height van or pickup let us know what it is. Say off of the corner of the front and rear bumpers, from the bottom of it. Im not anywhere near as low as turbo king, but its something to shoot for, I would like to do bags for mine and lay it out as far as possible. I like the air over hydraulic setups they are doing now.

Re: Praise the lowered...!
The winter here in Missouri is still going strong and I have really not been able to the truck out to take some great shots.
Well the weather did clear off some, but now we are back to the crap weather here in Misery. I did manage to back my truck out and shovel out the snow in the bed but that was it before the next round of snow hit.

Re: Praise the lowered...!
Here are some pics with measurements I took this morning.
I'm not really that low, just lower than stock.
The van has a nice raked look now that I like much better than the old nose-up look.
The tires are 215/60-15, so they are about 25" tall...
The tires seem a little big now, but i haven't had any clearance issues so far.
50 series rubber would drop me down a bit more and might improve the look some but the tires on there now are very new, so I'm going to have to wait.

Re: Praise the lowered...!
Measured mine, not setting on level ground in the garage right now, have a drain in it.
I also cant post up pretty pics with my measurements so I will just type em out. lol.
Front bumper 12" both sides
Front wheel centers to lip 13.25" both sides
Rear bumper rt- 13.5", lt- 13"
Rear center to lip rt- 10.25, lt- 10"
Running 185/60/14's
Will be nice to measure once I pull it out onto flat ground. Almost guess the rear bumper isnt level, but cant tell for sure.
Should help give a idea of how different tire sizes will drop a vehicle also.
Doesnt realy have much camber in the rear either.

Now that is low...!
Re: Praise the lowered...!
If only my truck was a power glide I could set it on the ground.
Re: Praise the lowered...!
Well you see the shifter rod "tube" that is attached from the shifter linkage to the trany on a manual FC happens to be the lowest point on the truck. Bad things can happen! I guess you could make a skid plate and let it just rub the ground all the time. This summer I will be adding a skid plate around the shifter linkage up front just in case.

Re: Praise the lowered...!
I think GM changed the shifter linkage design mid production in 1963.
I believe the later year FC's have a "tunnel" for the linkage through the gas tank.

Re: Praise the lowered...!
The other FC's around me are 61's so that wont do us any good. Maybe someone can find a picture for us to compare.
