Needs a bench seat bad.
Re: Praise the lowered...!
The vans out here in the yard have bench frames, would need recovering.

Re: Praise the lowered update
Here's a pic of the new 2 1/2" offset/offset round Magnaflow muffler installed on my Greeny today.
I had "donated" the old muffler to keep my '64 Rampside project moving along and needed to find something to replace it.
I was worried that new muffler would sound too loud, but it sounds awesome... not too loud, not too quiet.

Re: Praise the lowered...!
Looks nice, did you weld it up? I wanna switch back to a single like that, I want it quieter already.

Re: Praise the lowered...!
I didn't weld it... but "T" at Canyon Lake Muffler did.
I've been experimenting with different FC exhaust set ups for a while now.
I think that I've finally found something that will work for me.
When I redo the exhaust on my Rampside, I'll have a better starting point from the experience I've gained
on my Greenbrier.

Re: Praise the lowered...!
Is it just stock crossover, adapted to the muffler?

Dan, Are those 15x8 corvette rallye wheels on the back of your FC? What size tires are you running, those look quite wide!Danthesignman wrote:

Re: Praise the lowered...!
Dan, thanks for the quick response. I'm picking my van up and as my wife constantly reminds me I have a thing for wheels, I don't think I've owned a single vehicle for more than a few months before putting custom/aftermarket wheels on it. I'm thinking I'm going to stick with stock 14's with the dog dish caps, but I may well end up with something else too.

Re: Praise the lowered...!
I'm bringing it home later this afternoon. I'll take a bunch of pics. It's pretty ugly right now with white and lavender paint (I'm assuming some hippie in CA owned it since it came from CA). That will be rectified later as priority #1 is getting it running. I will be lowering it as well, although I still need to confirm if drop spindles for late 50's -early 60's will fit an FC, then my front disc brake conversion will be really simple and inexpensive.
I'll be sure to post a bunch of pics later on. Thanks Dan!

Re: Praise the lowered...!
Yup, it's the one with the hideous white/lavender paint job on it. It's from California so I'm assuming some hippie painted it while they were high! I'm still making a list of all the little parts I need. It does have a little bit of shoddy body work done to it, none of it looks to be rust related though, so I'm not sure what happened. I'll worry about that after I get it running.
I didn't have a chance to take pics on Friday because I was pressed for time, but I'll try to get some later and post them.
