COBB Landspeed Team

Post by Phil Dally »

It's not just me out there. Alan & Gary Cobb are in the thick of it and building a BIGGER motor this winter. More on my car and what is up for the off season later.

So far my best is 148.235 MPH at El Mirage. COBB has run about 120. El Mirage is 1 1/3 miles long. We push off and I launch in 2nd gear. Where do you live Steve? Next event is May 15/16 2010.

Hey Phil, how 'bout more info on the team, the different setup/stuff needed for both events (El Mirage - Bonneville). And if you have time some "been there done that" stuff the rest of us wouldn't know unless we tried. 8-)

I'm going to do a total run down on the racecar for both forums as soon as I can.

This month I'm working 29 of 31 days...a little busy...cant say no to the double & triple time. 8-)
