Fire & ICE autocross, September 4th, Marshaltown, Iowa

This is just a reminder that Fire & ICE 2011 autocross will be held on Sunday, September 4th at the Iowa International Raceway in Marshalltown, Iowa. The Raceway is a 1/2 mile paved road course and is great fun for all levels of experience and all Corvairs from bone stock to competition class. Don't think that you have to have a 140 or higher hp to get good times on this track - some low hp stock automatic cars that have set some very fast times.

Following the autocross will be a dinner at the Marshalltown Best Western. There will also be a catered picnic / show & shine on Monday at Riverview Park in Marshalltown. The picnic will also be an Iowa Corvair Enthusiasts event, so expect to see other members of ICE and their Vairs in attendance.

Pre-registrations are due before August 28th, which saves your $15 on your registration fee. If you plan to attend, please pre-register because it makes it much easier on our volunteers.
