Wiring Distributor,Coil,Ballast Resistor,Generator and Starter

Post by California Racer »

Sort of need a refresher on car wiring.

What are the wires necessary for a tube chassis?

Looks like I forgot battery, run and start switch!

Let's include those please.

No need to think about gauge wiring right now.

I know a couple gauges would come in handy but 'Not now Kato!'.:)

EDIT Looks like I forgot regulator too.

Plus we will keep the generator. No alternator.

Thank you Brad!

It is coming back to me sort of.

Can use split loom from the NAPA store to make this little bit of wiring harness.

Comes in different sizes by the foot.We use black.Don't like red, blue or yellow colored split loom.

Masking tape single wires to frame.

Have Weller soldering gun for car wiring.

Can solder washers on the end of wires for grounds.

Happy holidays!
