Censorship and Corvair forum

Post by Scott H »

I am not a big fan of censorship. But I am a fan of order and respect. With that I have the following to say.

1. The "Garage Talk" forum will be not interfered with (much). This gives those who want to speak their mind the freedom to do so. This will also give the opportunity for those who don't want to see it to be able to stay out of that section of the forum.
Don't forget your :pop:

2. I would like to keep personal attacks out of the rest of the forums. So if you see someone getting out of hand in other areas of the forum, let me know. If that happens, some posts may get deleted (including my own if I get out of hand). Don't take it personally, I/we are only doing it to keep the place looking good. :chevy:

Just FYI...I have set all the forums up so that we all have the ability to edit or even delete our own posts. If you are mad, then later on cool off, and feel like you may have been a little harsh then edit your post or delete it. If someone offends you, give yourself time to cool off before posting and if your still mad, let em have it... :nutkick: j/k

As members of corvairforum, feel free to contact me at any time regarding this and or any other aspect of this site. This place only gets better with your ides and help. I place a high value on what you want and I will do my best to implement it.

Guess I should consider my ignorance of past events and forums a good thing.

Nothin' but love comin' from my direction!

Look at me... I'm gettin all emotional. I think I'm going to go hug one of my cats.

I think I went to the wrong forum, with all this man love talk. Yuck. Lol.

Just kidding but I can definetly say its nice to have a forum where people aren't just plain nasty, I avoid enough of them already.

Keep up the good work.

I agree I go out of my way to avoid people who are so opinionated that they can't see the other person's side of the story.

Haven't seen anyone like that here.

BTW- Vanman I dig your project... very cool. Nice to see someone rodding something so useful. Kind of makes me want one myself... don't suppose you'd trade for a group of beat up 56 Chevys? LOL

I like it here, everyones pretty laid back. Opinions matter, but also respect goes a long way.

Ira, I wouldnt trade for something not running right now, been to long before I got the van that I had a running fun vehicle. Im enjoying the shit out of it, even though Ive only gotten to drive it a handfull of times in the two weeks it was registered, and before it started snowing. I'd drive it whenever, just as long as theres no salt down. I dont mind the cold, hey they go snowmobiling, you just got to dress for it. Plus cant wait to pack it full of camping gear and take the family camping for the weekend. Wanted a VW bus for a loooong time for that, but couldnt afford a solid bus, soon as I saw this van I knew I had to have it. Plus Im going to set it up so I can take my Father to car shows, he's wheelchair bound and I have to transfer him, and cant, so this will be awsome, he needs it.
