Re: ENTER- Corvair of the Month June 2015
1964 500 Coupe. 95hp with a 4 speed.
SO MANY previous owner screw-ups to fix. Working on it. Badly replaced floors that are rusting because the trunk seal was never replaced after the last repaint and allowed the trunk to rust through under the dash...so every time it rains.....it rains.
The beginning of my old man and my track car. This year I'm just getting it running good and doing one event in Nebraska. This winter I plan to build a 140 for it with a better cam, porting work, etc.. Also going to be slowly working on the running gear...all fresh bushings, HD shocks, etc.. I'll soon replace the floors and fix the rust in the trunk.

Re: ENTER- Corvair of the Month June 2015
Okay all,
Finally got around to taking pictures of my '65 Monza convertible. She's got a 95HP engine from a 1964 (going by the serial number). She came with a Powerglide, but I changed that to a three speed from a 1966 500 that I bought for just that purpose. I had a friend do the body work and paint it last November. I got thje standard instrument cluster, as well as some linkage parts and other necessities from my good friend Jeff at the Corvair Ranch. The seats (front), as well as the console came from California Corvairs, the front door panels and carpet kit, pedal pads, and a bunch of other stuff came from Clark's. Like most 50 year old cars, it's still a work in progress, but I drive it as much as I can.

Re: ENTER- Corvair of the Month June 2015
Hi all, here are some pictures of my 64 Spyder in Iceland. I imported it 2007 from Nebraska and have done a lot of work on it, thanks to Clark's for his dedication to Corvair parts and reproduction, it is totally remarkable business they are running. My first Corvair was 65 Monza 140/4 convertible and the bug was in , next was 66 corsa 69 500 and currently my 64 spyder Thanks. Stefan..

It's been a while folks, But had to see our entries for this month. There all winners but had to give my vote to Iceland Spyder, the Stefan man. I know he has done a awful lot of work to this baby. The country side and his side kick in the mirror was a killer touch. CG

Jeffinpa's Monza is awesome! Iceland looks great from a distance and I'd love to see closer pics. Nice job to both
