Heres my ride a '63 Corvan, named Sancho (for now). Got him last fall. Originaly from AZ bought by Ma Bell and obviously used hard. He now is a family hauler, and gets new parts quite often right now. Ive got to much money into him, but its not about that its about having a fun ride that is as dependable as I can get it, and has style. Got lots to do to him still, both for looks and getting him up to par. Included in those plans are to make him handicaped accessable so I can bring my father to cruise nights and car shows, along with places he needs to go as I cant transfer him out of the chair. Realy want chrome bumpers and trim rings bad.

I am the original owner of a 63 Corvair Spyder Convertible purchased in June of 63. I have my original purchase order, sales contract, title, paid note, and a thank you letter from the dealership for financing my car through them. I drove my baby for 14 years and stored it for 25 years with varmints in a machine shed. I have 100 pics of restoration at http://community.webshots.com/user/ljahn63 I have won my division open early in both the Indiana and Illinois state shows several times. It was judged best of show at the Lincoln Land Community College show in 2009. Your vote would be greatly appreciated. Member of PCCA and CORSA.

This is a 1965 Corsa I've had in the stable now for almost two years. I've added the Chrome trim and the top and wheels along with other standard fixes and repairs since I've had it. It has a 140 4sp, with a Holly 500 Center mount powering it up.

More pics and info to follow --- Vote for UNSAFE ! :rafman:

Update - My car is a 1965 Monza. It has 4 wheel disk brakes ,Koni shocks, 1" anti-roll bars front and rear.

The engine is a 3.1 liter (190 cid) with a pair of Weber triple barrel carbs, angle port exhaust tubes and headers with wicked sounding Supertrapp mufflers.

All work (except machining) was done by owner/me in a tent on an Alaskan mountainside.

The paint is 1968 Corvette Bronze. The bumpers are fiberglass , the rear decklid is carbon fiber and the rear window is plastic.

The wheels are 15" American Racing Torque Thrust Ds with Y rated Goodrich G-force tires.

I've run the car on high speed road tracks , drag strips and autocross courses . I don't do so well in autocross because I have a cone magnet underneath the trunk.

Best qtr mile time so far is 14.6 @ 95 mph.

Vote for "UNSAFE" :not worthy:

66 Monza with a .60 over 140, bored and rotated carbs, ported and polished heads, mild cam, electronic ignition and headers.
The interior is out of a honda prelude, with a pontiac vibe center console, the wheels are Coy's C5 17x8 all around. Drasically
lowered and refurbished suspension featuring poly bushings, otto lower strut rod bracket and stiffer shocks. Steering is stock
the stereo is a pioneer head unit and polk audio speakers (no amp). There's a neat Sun tach tucked into the stock clock location.
the car is fully sound deadend with Fatmat, and is painted with dp90 black tint primer and a custom glossy stripe added by me with
a rattle can. (yeah, really!)

Here is my 66 Corsa V8 for your consideration for Corvair of the month.
It has a reverse rotation 266 cu. in aluminum Oldsmobile bolted up to a PG transaxle and Hughes Hi-Stall converter; 98 Grand Prix seats and console; TPI guages; 7 speaker, 12 disc, 900watt sound system; custom tail lights with 60 led's each;
17's; and a custom A/C system. Its a V8 with a full trunk and interior an extremely nice cruiser. It was all done in my garage and driveway (execpt for the paint).
Thanks for looking!

1967 Corvair Monza Coupe. Automatic. Bolero red. 110 engine. Restored in 2009. All the exterior trim has been replaced with NOS or repro parts. Front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. The exhaust system is the ultimate exhaust from Clark's Corvair. The interior is all original except for new carpet and mats and reupholstered driver's seat. Front disc brakes have been added and 14" American Racing Torq Thrust chrome wheels. Steering wheel is a new Grant mahogany wood wheel. Also the aluminum headlight bezels have been chrome plated. New carbs and red powdercoated fan. I hand painted a Rat Fink face on the chrome oil filter cover using one shot paints. Many of the engine components have also been chrome plated.

This is my 1965 Monza Convertible. The restoration was finished in April 2009. It was a ground up restoration. This car was featured in the June, 2009 issue of Cars and Parts Magazines and has been in a few shows around Austin, Tx. Mostly, though, I wait for perfect days and then drive it around the neighborhood. Fortunately, there are a lot of perfect days in Austin.

It is more original than not, although we did make some changes for safety. The seats are modified Sebring seats. That allowed me to get seatbelts with shoulder harnesses into the convertible. The floor was reinforced to support the seats in the event of a crash. There is now a center console to hide the controls for the power front seats. And we did a front disk brake conversion for stopping safety. The colors are not original. The stereo is modern, as is the steering wheel and rims. The rest of the car is true to the original, with many more parts being restored than replaced.
