Re: Corvair of the Month March 2011
Woo, tied for second. That's pretty cool. I found I was boiling my battery a bit, so a voltage check revealed 16 volts at the battery when running. Alt was good, new solid state reg and why not clean the oil cooler while we're at it... for that I deserve more votes!!!
Re: Corvair of the Month March 2011
YEAH!! I finally caught up to Greg!! Guys, who can we pay for the extra 3 votes? Grymm, vote for yourself man and get up here with us!!
Grymm, I agree with the sound factor, it makes a difference. Go here http://www.corsaturbo180usa.com/russ-mc ... corsa.html and watch the video and you can hear my 140 purr.....
One more day!!!

Grymm, vote for yourself man and get up here with us!!
Remember that a tie goes to the earliest entry . Grymm is theoretically tied with with the other late models now.
He needs 4 votes to win and so do the other lates.
So ------------ everyone VOTE or else
Man-o-man you early guys really stick together
Good luck to everyone that entered and be sure to enter again next month if you don't win.
I do think Early models are cute There - I said it

Re: Corvair of the Month March 2011
I think I'm going to hold off till I can get some nicer pics of my car...so I might skip April. Congrats to 64vert!!! I love that color combo man, same as our 63' coupe!
As far as voting for myself, I'll vote for myself when I get some really nice pics. Last month I just didn't vote at all because I didn't want to vote against myself... I actually would have won Feb. if I voted for myself if I'm not mistaken. For March I voted for my favorite once I felt like I wasn't really in the running. I really want on the calendar! I've got a 2011 calendar poster with my car (and 24 others) on it from placing top 25 peoples choice at the Detroit homecoming, now I need a "real" calendar type calendar with my car on it =). For me it's a dream come true to have my car on stuff like this.... as is owning the 140 Corsa I dreamed of for a good 7 years or more.
