This is my 61 Lakewood wagon my husband bought me for Christmas. Its beauty that turns heads and has people saying to me I didn't know they made corvair station wagons.... It has a 110 and drive train out of a 66, one day I hope to put the original motor back in it, its in boxes in the barn and my husband says he will get to it one of these days.... ::-):

I'd like to enter this 1966 Corsa, Kelmark kitted, with 455 Olds power that I share with my girlfriend, 72 Redhead. The engine is a '66 425 block fitted with 455 crank, rods, and pistons. The cam is from Morroso and is realitively mild with 272 duration and .490" lift. Heads are pocket ported and port matched. The paint is Evening Orchid. The back seat is in it's original location. A casual walk around will not disclose it's mods. Front valance is uncut, exhaust well tucked up. With 2/3rds of it's weight over the rear wheels, traction is unreal, with wheel up starts always a possibility, and slight wheelies when the modified th425 is shifted into 2nd at full song. Having owned many Musclecars, this is by far the quickest thing from a standing start I've every driven on the street.

Thanks for looking,
Greybeard and 72 Redhead

Ok I'll enter my Oshawa built 1966 Corsa Turbo. It's a 4 speed with 68,000 miles on it. All original interior. It's not a show car yet. It's been sitting in a garage undriven since the 80's. I found it just a couple of months ago basically in this condition. There are some incorrect features for 66 that are easy to spot but that will be rectified soon enough. I focused on getting it on the road and driving it. The only intentional alteration from stock that I've done to this point is the 67 master cylinder. Take it for what it is, a survivor. One that's happy to be out in the sun and driving around again.

Cheers,

*This car belongs to joepad*
1967 Corvair Monza Coupe. Automatic. Bolero red. 110 engine. Restored in 2009. All the exterior trim has been replaced with NOS or repro parts. Front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. The exhaust system is the ultimate exhaust from Clark's Corvair. The interior is all original except for new carpet and mats and reupholstered driver's seat. Front disc brakes have been added and 14" American Racing Torq Thrust chrome wheels. Steering wheel is a new Grant mahogany wood wheel. Also the aluminum headlight bezels have been chrome plated. New carbs and red powdercoated fan. I hand painted a Rat Fink face on the chrome oil filter cover using one shot paints. Many of the engine components have also been chrome plated.

This is a car I bought in 1970 and I've driven the wheels off of it about 5 times! The latest restoration turned it into a replica of a Stinger. I drove a Stinger once in 1967 and have been in love ever since. I still couldn't afford one so this is what I ended up with. It's by far the funnest car to drive I've ever owned.

Modifications include: the usual Yenko engine modifications, a Clark's Ultimate exhaust system, modern stereo/cd player, 70's Camaro bucket seats, 14x7 Pontiac wheels and beauty rings with home-made hub caps, Grant steering wheel, quick steering arms and urethane front end bushings, etc.
