I am an active member of corvair center and i finally decided to join here. I am 17 (for a few more days) and have restored a 66 monza convertible. I didnt have the heart to cut it up so i decided to load it with original options instead (except wheels and exhaust, easy to change). I am currently restoring (my dads) all original untouched 66 corsa turbo coupe. My dad also has a 66 corsa crown v8 car that i did the paint and body on (100% of the work was done at home by my dad and I). He also has a 66 monza convert with a built weber motor that I autocross, a 65 monza convert with a olds 455 (needs work), and a 67 monza coupe thats basically sold.

Great pics , I love the wheel in the air.

The Daisy wheels on the V8 were among my top 3 choices but I went with Torque Thrusts. I had the Daisy wheels in the 4 spoke version on a Datsun Z-car many years ago and I've always liked them.

Here's one of me when I was seveteen. The car is a 1962 Chevy Belair "Bubble-top" with a big block 396 (66 Caprice) and a 4 speed Muncie with 5.57 posi rear gears. Remember I was only 17 !
