East coast enthusiast

Post by Wendell »

hello , I am Wendell , I live on the east coast.. USA . at New Hampshire. I had an exciting weekend helping my friend getting a '62 rampside out of the twigs and saplings that started to overtake it. I was surprised how little decay there was after 30 t0 40 years of sleeping in the woods. This co-worker/buddy and I are planing to get the old rig going so my friends buddy can drive it . the said "buddies" are in there 60's . I am 48. but these are really cool rigs and I am excited to to see the fc run. I have a sweet tooth for FC .. forward control rigs .I once had a Pinzgauer and this corvair rampside brings back the enjoyable memories of that ride format. So I am here because I would assume there are like minded folks that like FC unusually cool vehicals like myself .

Plenty of FC fans around. That's the one type of Corvair I've never owned. Someday maybe.
