1964 Vert

Post by plrgpr »

Hey all, I looked at this car for sale last fall. This car has nice paint and interior. Top is in good condition with the exception of a very small hole in the passenger side sail panel. I jacked the car up and checked out underbody and could find no rust through anywhere on the car, laying on my back, except for a pin hole in the very bottom of the trunk floor, car appears to be rock solid. Engine runs and I saw no smoke or heard any unusual noises, however engine does need some tuning as I couldn’t keep it running for a test drive, thus the reason I passed on it, that and the fact that it was priced much higher at the time. The owner emailed me today and said he would take $3000 for the car, but had to decline ad I have since bought another Corvair. This good looking car needs a good home. As the add states, it does need clutch/tranny work.

That would be a real nice car to get. Looks like someone has been giving it some love. I sure would like a convertible to too, but just bought a coupe and well damn it is in Ohio.
