Your welcome, Craig.

Finally got the OK to travel, so a buddy and I are leaving Baltimore Sunday the 2nd arriving at Shade's sometime on the 3rd. Load up and visit with Chris for a bit, then back on the road on the 4th, getting home late on 5th. Then the fun begins.

Pic's to follow.

Larry,

Are you planning on attending the Cars and Coffee in Hunt Valley at the Towne Centre (50 Shawan Road, Hunt Valley, MD 21030) in the parking lot between Iron Rooster and Marshalls on Saturday mornings?

I have been there a few times over the years with my 2000 Prowler (Since Sold), 2006 HHR, 1965 Monza Convertible, and most recently the 1964 Greenbrier.

IF you are planning on attending, send me a PM and maybe we can attend on the same day. :dontknow:

I sincerely hope that your recent purchase lives up to your expectations and brings back good memories.

Been there a couple times this last fall. Only saw 1 corvair, Silver 65 with a 140hp, 4 spd Corsa, owned by a guy living in Arbutus (He's had it for for decades). Probably start going in April. I'll PM you when I do go.

Got home about 9pm. Car did great on trailer. I woke up yesterday with a stiff neck ( fat assed pillows at hotels!) and it was worse today.

If I feel better tomorrow and weather is better (no rain), get it off trailer and under cover. And take more pics.

Lets see if I can rotate those pics from last post.

Noted it has glasspack and resonator on both sides (or 2 glasspacks). It's louder than stock but not as loud and obnoxious as a rice rocket with Fart tubes. I'll keep 'em.

The tires are actually 175/70R13's that are 3 years old (some off brand, but it handles nice, actually a lot better than the '61 I had 50 years ago.

Past 2 days spent underneath car at firehouse (separate engineering bay.....Nice to be one of the Engineering staff). Removed the extractor exhausts and replaced with stock setup. They were hung with 2 muffler strap hangers. Right side I removed the front strap as it was fairly easy to hang the stock muffler mount, with strap. Then hung the back of the muffler with the existing muffler strap. Left side was hung with the existing straps as I had a time limitation (getting to be dinner time), and I would have had to remove shrouding to heater, so hung the muffler on the straps. It's very close to original positions. Might have to shorten front hanger a little. Out the side tailpipes, and call it a day. The Extractor Exhaust looks to be no older than a couple years or at least very lightly used as the dark gray paint is mostly intact or just dirt encrusted. Probably sell them. I'll put up a separate Thread for them if I do.

Y'day installed new seat belts for front. Then had a whosh..whosh sound that was consistent with road speed of tires, so pulled axles back, Pulled the yokes and replaced with a pair (new joints I put in on bench) I had gotten 2 weeks ago. Replaced the diff seals while I was at it and topped off the diff fluid.

With all that I can hear myself think now running down the road. Today I tackle the radio wiring, and wiring to the power port(switched rather than direct to battery) for a Blue tooth to FM transmitter to run my phone off of.

Got the Blackbox from Craig. Very Nice and clear instructions. I'll work on that next week. And I've got tons of ATO fuses in my RV.

It's been running really well. Wife commented on the Noise from back (and it wasn't a good comment :nono: ) Which is why the stock exhaust went on.

New heater hoses in back (falling off and torn) to go on soon, Plus I still have to do electric Fuel pump from Craig also. And some odds and ends (rear seat belts, bushings for the transverse springs, etc.)
