Hello to all,
I've had a number of different sports cars over the years and in the long past have had experience with 3 Corvairs: 61-500 auto, 65-500 3speed and a 65-Corsa conv. Through Covid I restored a 69 AH Sprite, but I seem to have caught the Corvair bug. I've been doing a lot of reading and joined Northern NJ Corvair Enthusiasts and am on the search for a nice 65-66 Corsa coupe.
Glad to be here and participate in a community focused on this really great and under appreciated car.

Welcome--- being back East you will have to look for rust issues in the Corvair unibody.

NOTE - If you are not a concurs, got to be original, person there are a number of "Corsarized" Corvairs converted from Monza's. While a perfect restored Corsa is worth more than a "Corsarized" Monza, unlike pony or muscle cars there is not much of a price penalty when selling a converted Corvair in average condition.

Just me, but I'd take a very nice Corsarized Monza over a so-so real Corsa.

I could very well have been a British sports car guy if circumstances would have been a little different.
Spridgets are pretty cool.
I had a TR6 for a while about 10 or 15 years ago and raised the price as I was working on it. It sold really easy so I figured it was for the best. It would have needed transmission synchros and rear suspension mounting work. The brown color didn't really do it for me either.
I'll be dying on this Corvair hill and I'm content with it. They are very interesting cars. I raced one in SCCA EP for 10 years.
You should be able to find just what you're looking for, they made like 2 million.
Andria here lives back east somewhere and has a LM coupe and convertible for sale. I can't remember the specifics but it came up here about a week ago. She's focusing on a reacquired V-8 Corvair.

The car I have available at the moment is a running driving 1965 Monza convertible with a 110 engine and a powerglide transmission. It isn't perfect by any means and has had some rust repairs done many years ago but the car is essentially solid in the critical areas.
The car has an older Imron paint job from about 35 years ago. The convertible top is also about the same age but the car was to the best of my knowledge kept indoors by the prior owner. The interior is serviceable.
I bought this car about five years ago and had the Corvair Ranch go through it before I put it through a Maryland State Inspection so I could put regular tags on it rather than Historic tags.
The car looks good from five feet but it should be gone through, get a new top and paint at some point.
Even though I have close to 10K in the car at this point, I would let it go for less.
IF the wheels on it are not to your liking, I have the stock wheels that could go back on it instead.

I saw the 1966 CORSA Coupe at the NJACE swap meet this past weekend and was sorry to hear that the original deal on it fell through. It looks very nice and would be a better deal if you want a CORSA Coupe.

IF you are looking for a "Project" car, I also have a 1965 LOS Monza Coupe that I bought as a basket case many years ago as a rolling chassis. I have had the suspension out of it, cleaned and painted the components and replaced ball joints and bushings. The car has all new brake lines, gas tank, 1965 Corsa wire harness, Corsa dash, Telescopic steering column, a White Clark's Interior and much more. This was going to be my "Final" project but it got interrupted with other Corvair projects, Now that my old Kelmark car re-entered my life, it is taking priority over all my other Corvair related projects.
