CWLA is having a Funcours instead of our annual Concours
d'Elegance this year. It's like a Concours but less formally judged and
more "fun". All Corvairs and Corvair-powered vehicles welcome -
from work in progress to Concours quality.
It will be held on the first SATURDAY in October (not our normal Sunday!)
at The Nethercutt Museum 15151 Bledsoe Street Sylmar, CA 91342 (not our normal place!). 8AM-3PM.
Check in before 9:30AM and, while your car is judged by CWLA,
join everyone (Limited to 50 people over 10 yrs old) for the 10:00AM
2-hour guided tour of the formal Nethercutt Collection in San Sylmar.
Then head back outside for a pot-luck lunch with friends (please
bring chairs, pop-ups for shade, and something to share in the potluck).
The separate Nethercutt museum is open all day in case you
need to max out on cars other than our Corvairs. A bit after lunch we
will announce trophy winners in each category. Some categories may
surprise you and are subject to change depending on attendance.
